Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Sierra Leone defender Juma Bah as part of a bid to boost the club’s fortunes at the Etihad Stadium.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, after City unveiled 20-year-old defender Abdugodir Khusanov from Lens yesterday, they are set to sign 19-year-old centre-back Vitor Reis from Palmeiras in the next 48 hours.

The Citizens are also keen on 18-year-old Juma Bah, who is โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที currently on loan at Real Valladolid from AIK Freiburg.

The current situation is that an agreement has been reach in principle. The 6ft 5in player will become City’s property in the January 2025 market.

However, the player did not immediately join manager Josep Guardiola, but has instead sent to Ligue 1 side Lens, Khusanov’s former club, on loan for the entire season, as agree.

Bah has made 13 appearances in all competitions for Valladolid, and moving to Ligue 1 required him to learn French.

Because Sierra Leone’s official language is English, unlike most African countries which use French.

Juma Bah arrived at Real Valladolid in 2024 and the coaching staff decided to immediately promote the 18-year-old from the youth academy to the reserve team. After just one game with them, Paulo Pezzolano gave him his first-team debut in the 0-0 draw against Real Sociedad. Since then, he has made a total of 13 appearances for the Puebla outfit and has made 11 starts. Should he seal his departure to Manchester City in January, he would be one of the most meteoric breakthroughs in Spanish football of all time.
