“Of course it’s a simple explanation,” the Portuguese said after the game at Stamford Bridge.

“Let’s say we have a player who is in a daze about whether to stay or go – it’s not beneficial. So I choose to make an easy decision. He’s not in the competition group. Let’s see after the market closes.”

“At that point, we will know if he is still my player. That is the problem we have to deal with because he is a good player with great quality.”

“Or if you really have to go, I won’t hinder you.”

“On the job front, I want the players to be committ to the team, to the project, to the club and everything.”

“That guy came to practice, but we all know that he’s not in his right mind because he still wants to move out. He still wants to go, so we have to say it directly.”

“Just say it as it really happened. Let’s wait until after the January market, then we’ll see.”

Lemina is entering the final six months of his contract and has made 1 goal and three assists in 19 appearances in all competitions this season. Wolves’ asking price is £5m, but Al – Shabab are not willing to pay.
